As we are currently experiencing a distinct lack of match report writers (the liverpool supporting writers are pouting and on strike), the following is an abbreviated version that would have been written by a Malaysian scouse (as suggested by Guvnor):
“...........a beautiful floated cross came in from Batigol a true Liverpool (a team which is the bestest in the world eventhough we won nothing again this year) supporter, which somehow bounced off the shins of Shark (boo-boo Man U supporter, who Rafa says is not the best team to win the championship) as he tumbled over his shoe laces. The ball which dinked off his shinpads floated in the air forever before nestling at the back of the net much to the surprise of the opposition goal keeper who did not anticipate the ball to go so slow. By the way, reliable sources indicates that the said keeper is also a Man U supporter so that explains why he let in that soft goal...................”
A longer more accurate version on the match report will be coming soon (hopefully).
Do note that the only goal of the game was a superb first time volley from RMMs all time highest goalscorer who now plays a John O'Shea type of utility role (mostly @ left back or as a reserve keeper).
